The award-winning NFS racing franchise is back with V-Rally 2 presented by Need For Speed, the sequel to last year's top selling European racing title bearing the V-Rally name. Built from the ground up with a brand new engine, V-Rally 2 will thrill racing enthusiasts, especially NFS fans, with exhilarating rally racing full of crisp, highly detailed graphics and special effects.

Players can choose from 16 officially licensed 1999 rally cars, and 10 officially licensed bonus cars from rallying history. Each car features strikingly realistic graphics and car physics, dynamic vehicle damage, animated drivers and co-pilots, and dirt and gravel spitting from all four tires as you slide around the corners.

In keeping with the true spirit of rally racing, V-Rally 2 takes place on over 80 courses in 12 international locales with roads of mud, snow, gravel and dirt. Exotic locales and conditions include the treacherous icy roads of Sweden, sliding gravel roads of Indonesia, breathtaking Corsican coastline, and the famous cliffs of Monte Carlo. The game also features an exceptionally powerful track editor so players can create an unlimited number of new courses, each with conditions set to their exact specifications.

The game fuses simulation and fantasy. Based on Rally Motorsport Racing, Europe's premier racing sport, V-Rally 2 brings the player the excitement and thrill of pushing their car to the limit, while still offering great control for racers of all skill levels. Feel the sense of speed as you maintain just enough control to keep the car on all four wheels - and watch the spectators sprinting out of the way!

V-Rally 2 is a very deep game with four modes of play, varying weather conditions, and night driving. For competition, players can engage in head-to-head rally races with multi-player support that will support up to four racers simultaneously (split screen via the multi-tap peripheral).
