Background Info
All the teams and all the racetracks of the 1998 season are there, with a host of special new features which make this third Psygnosis Formula 1 title the best of the bunch in racing. The challenge is greater as the game-play gets progressively more difficult. The artificially intelligent cars in the multi-player game drive you to your limit. And the competition increases with the brand new four player link-up mode through combined split-screen and combat-cable play.
During each Formula 1 98 race you'll get the benefit of enhanced car dynamics and modelling, dual commentary and greatly expanded track-side activity. The cars drive better than ever before. Two of your favourite commentators will guide you around the track. The realistic pit lanes and a motion captured pit crew with whom you can communicate means that the pit-stop need not impact on your game-play.
