Dream it. Build it. Skate it. Following up on last year's successful Street Sk8er, the first ever skateboarding game for Playstation, Street Sk8er 2 is the only game that offers players an opportunity to create their own skate park!

Adding to the game appeal is the ability for players to skate in four international cities, building character skills and unlocking hidden bonuses as they progress through a three level Street Tour, consisting of 11 events. In addition, Street Sk8er 2 features 10 all new customizable characters with individual skater attributes that affect play and 30 skateboards, including Powell Skateboards' latest models.

The game encourages players to use their creativity and imagination to build the skatepark of their dreams. For example, bowls, quarter pipes, halfpipes, fun boxes, rails and ramps can be placed in any manner in an abandoned warehouse that serves as the skateparks' home. Custom parks and characters can then be saved on a memory card to compete against friends.

Skating takes place in three distinct modes, Street Tour and Free Skate and Multiplayer. In Street Tour, players race against the clock in the streets of Miami, San Francisco, Moscow and Washington DC in addition to Park and Vert events such as Big Air, Bowl and Half Pipe while performing tricks for points. As the players progress through 11 Championship events, they can customize their skills such as jumping, cornering, power, acceleration and speed. In Free Skate mode, the player explores tracks, without the pressure of a timer, to practice moves and master courses.

Multiplayer mode features two-player split screen or four-player serial action, as well as a two-player mini game challenge.

In Street Sk8er 2, players can choose from two trick control systems. They can select to play in Amateur mode for easy pick up and play with more than 200 tricks, or go for ultimate control over executing tricks and combinations in Pro mode.

The game also features a smokin' soundtrack with 12 songs from an array of signed talent.
