Madden 99 (PC,PSX,N64) Preview

Publisher: EA Sports
Release Date: Summer 1998

Background Info

Madden NFL™ 99 takes a new approach to interactive football with a simple, new one-button interface. The new style allows novice users to quickly develop the skill and strategy needed to play the game and further expand the interactive football category through mass market appeal.

Yet, Madden NFL 99 continues to deliver on the tradition of robust game play for hard-core fans who have grown to expect the high level of control in the John Madden Football™ series as well.

Madden NFL 99 offers well over 100 past and present NFL teams. All 30 current NFL teams, 85 All-Time and Super Bowl™ teams, plus numerous secret teams provide a multitude of match-ups for historical football fans and those interested in this year's teams.
