Wrestling fans may remember THQ's mega-hit, WCW vs NWO: World Tour. THQ and WCW have teamed up again to bring the world's top wrestlers to your Nintendo 64. WCW/NWO Revenge, the sequel to the mega-hit WCW vs NWO: World Tour, boasts a larger assortment of your favorite wrestling superstars.
This new game wil allow players to save vital statistics on an individual wrestler's win/loss record and the belts he holds. Wrestling fans can even control their favorite wrestler's destiny with the edit wrestler feature -- which switches wrestlers from the WCW to the NWO -- or take their favorite wrestler though an entire WCW "season," including WCW Monday Nitro, WCW Thunder and even select WCW Pay-Per-View events.
A new and improved Battle Royale mode adds unrelenting action to this power-packed title, allowing a player to fight his way to the top in a 40-man, all-out war. As weaker wrestlers are defeated, new challengers come running out to the ring to take their place, proving that WCW/NWO Revenge is the wrestling game "where the big boys play."
WCW/NWO Revenge will contain more than 80 wrestlers, including more than 40 WCW and NWO wrestling superstars. What about weapons? The game will include briefcases, trashcans, chairs, tables, bats and more! It makes me wonder who decided to use those weapons and if they are mentally stable.
A new feature, instant replay will be used to show off deadly finishing moves. There will be a lot more hidden wrestlers than its predecessor, WCW vs NWO : World Tour. The crowd grahpics are supposely improved. I would think the people playing the game wouldn't care about the crowd if he has an opponent with a chair or bat in his hands. This game will also be compatible with the Rumble Pak.
